Can LicenseEngine protect Software other than Wordpress?
Yes, you can use LicenseEngine to protect any software that is capable of communicating with our server via a $_GET request. If you aren't sure, head over to our Support Page, we'll be happy to help.

What is meant by Administrator Accounts?

How do I host files for Wordpress Updates?
You will need to create an account with Amazon S3. Once you create your bucket and upload you file, click the properties link next to the file in S3. This will give you a URL that you will need to paste into the "filename" field in the LE License field.
What is a plugin Slug?
This is for Wordpress plugin users only. It is the name of the zip file of your wordpress plugin. If your file is my-file-name.zip, the slug will be my-file-name without an extension.
Can LicenseEngine protect Wordpress Themes?
Yes, you can use LicenseEngine to protect themes.
I have one plugin with 3 licenses (single site, multi site and developer license). Can I use the Lite version?
Yes, the lite version supports 3 software products.
Can license engine tell me how any downloads/installs have been made of the product?
Yes, License Engine will show you how many instances of your software have been activated and how many times it has been downloaded.
